Garsioji frazė "I`ll be back" pasitvirtina - Terminatorius grįžta į ekranus ir ne tik. Kompanija Infogrames taip pat išleis žaidimą ta tema, kuris pasirodys ant visų platformų - PC, PS2 ir Xbox. Pasklido gandas, kad 3DO šį rudenį išleis Heroes Of Might and Magic IV pratesimą. Gamintojo puslapyje, tiesa sakant, tai nepatvirtinta. Vienu žodžiu nieko neaišku.

Šiais metais vykusioje parodoje E3 pristatytas Doom 3 gavo rekordiškai didelį apdovanojimų kiekį. Žaidimų kritikai (?) paskyrė jam 5 nominacijas: Best of Show, Best PC Game, Best Action Game, Special Commendation for Sound and Special Commendation for Graphics. Wow. :)

Blizzard išleido pataisymą Warcraft III. Ištaisyta keletas žaidimo klaidų ir šiek tiek pagerintas balansas. Pasiimti galite per Battle.net autoupdate arba tiesiai iš Blizzard ftp serverio (1.7 Mb).

Grand Theft Auto 3 pataisymai:
- Exception error after blue Rockstar load screen fixed.
- Error loading saved games fixed.
- Mouse sensitivity now saved with other settings (no changes made to existing settings).
- Option for user to play audio files directly from hard disk. Copy the contents of the PLAY discs Audio directory into your installed Grand Theft Auto III Audio directory. Grand Theft Auto III still requires the presence of the PLAY disc when started. This may give better performance on some machines (though worse on others).
- All protection checks (apart from needing PLAY disc to start) removed. Grand Theft Auto III still checks for the presence of the PLAY disc when initially started, and plays audio from the PLAY disc if not found on the hard disk (see above).

Beje, kas labai džiugina, už žaidimą online mokėt matyt nereikės. Tai reiškia, kad nusipirkus žaidimą toliau matyt teks mokėt tik už papildomus priedus, tokius kaip naujos kortos ar kažkas panašaus. :)

ATI išleido pataisymą žaidimui GTA3, kuris pašalina problemas su rūku žaidime, na ir aplamai turintiems ATI video plokštes nepakenks. Atsipūsti galite iš ATI tinklapio.

Šiuo adresu galima rasti įdomų tools'ą, kuris, kaip supratau, dinamiškai keičia view distance, ko pasekoje gaunamas geresnis fps žaidime. Taip pat jis gali 2 kartus padidinti apžvalgos atstumą.
